President
Steve spends his time with other business owners looking for ways to help them refine and grow their businesses. His successful technology background is helpful but his understanding of the importance of a strong company culture, best practice management, and cash flow balance all come into play when working with a client. Steve loves time with his wife, kids, and grandkids as well as being a board member with some local not-for-profits he believes in.
Troy Holwerda
Vice-President
Troy founded Proxurve Solutions as a break fix technology support group that has grown into a complete IT Managed Service and Security Provider. Troy’s passion for solving business challenges through technology and his ability to relate to business owners with straight forward ROI based conversations make him unique in the IT field. Now serving as Vice President of Technical Services, Troy oversees all technical staff with an eye for detail and excellent outcomes. Diego, his K9 companion, (and Proxurve’s beloved mascot) is by his side more often than not.
Nicole Shaffstall
Partner
Nicole enjoys working with clients to design and implement technology solutions that not only work, but also bring genuine value to the users around which it was designed. With a background in the medical field, Nicole is able to see the complementary intersections between technology and human beings. She enjoys wood-working, snow-skiing and time spent with family and dear friends.
Senior Consultant/ Systems Engineer
Graduating from Ball State University with his bachelor’s degree major in Management of Information Systems and minor in Computer Science, he enjoys the challenges of an ever-changing world of technology. Connecting companies and individuals with the appropriate technology solution is Doug’s passion. Outside of work, he enjoys photography, disc golf, playing drums and being with family and friends.
Eric Wysong

Systems Engineer
Eric works with business leaders, clients, and vendors to bring a conversational approach to IT management while providing consistency to technology infrastructures. One of his chief strengths is working in tandem with business leaders to provide customized IT solutions that fit budget parameters and fulfill critical business needs. In his off hours, he enjoys being with family, golfing, and boating.
Randy Wable
Senior Consultant/
Systems Engineer
Having over two decades of experience with all aspects of Information Technology, Randy has become accustomed to a large variety of environments. His primary strengths include cybersecurity and firewall management, as well as software development and automation. He takes pride in being able to communicate effectively with non-IT focused people, even regarding complex issues, and enjoys people more than his keyboard. Outside of the office – he loves spending time with friends and family, running, and spending too much time piloting internet spaceships!
Blake Wilson
Helpdesk Manager
Blake Wilson is a Systems Engineer at Proxurve who enjoys helping clients overcome their technology challenges. Blake knows that technology is constantly evolving and not slowing down, which is why he appreciates being able to expand his knowledge in the IT field daily. In his free time, he enjoys working out, riding motorcycles, and working on cars.
Paul Oliver
Systems Engineer
Paul is a US Navy vet with 31 years’ experience in PC repair, working with every operating system since DOS3. He has an enthusiasm for making things work, specializes in laptops, data recovery, and providing a great customer experience. In his free time Paul and his wife enjoy camping, fishing, and watching movies.
Alan Gogins
Systems Engineer
Alan has always aimed to seek ways to help others using problem solving and adaptation. He found Information Technology as a great way in which he can both learn to grow and learn to help those around him. Outside of learning about computer science and technology, he enjoys spending time with his family, digital art, and creative writing.
John Schuld
Systems Engineer
John Schuld is a Systems Engineer at Proxurve that focuses on front-facing client service. His hands-on approach to technology challenges allows him to constantly expand on knowledge in an ever-changing field. In his free time, he enjoys using his creativity to delve into making illustrations, music, and graphic design.
Alex Tanner
Systems Engineer
Alex has worked in IT for a little over 5 years. Joining the Proxurve Solutions team in April of 2023, Alex enjoys the group dynamic of contributing to a team. After completing coursework to receive his Associate of Sciences degree at Ivy Tech Community College, he will begin studies for his Bachelors. Given his passion for helping people, Alex has found that one of the mediums best suited for this is technology.
Greg Willman
Systems Engineer
With a goal to make email and internet access as dependable as telephones were before the days of cell phones, Greg Willman is the senior staff member tasked with managing networks, email delivery, firewalls and UNIX servers at data centers and elsewhere. Life is too short to spend time looking for or waiting on email.
Brian Beck
Senior Consultant
With over 30 years’ experience in the technology industry, Brian brings a unique perspective to the Managed IT conversation as the Senior Consultant here at Proxurve. He works directly with business leaders to identify unique ways to leverage technology that creates a secure, compliant, and efficient environment to achieve their desired business results. He enjoys staying active through weightlifting, continuing education, chasing his Labradoodle, spending time with his family, and attending church at Our Lady of Mount Carmel.

Jodi has supported our team in the role of Client Relationship Manager since 2010, developing vendor relationships as well as with our clients. She enjoys finding the right technology fit for everyone in this ever-changing world.
